Chicago Diner is heaven on earth. The menu is all meat-free (since ’83)! Tons of options are gluten-free and all of them are easily made vegan.

Self care activates the relaxation response (counter to the fight-or-flight response) which helps to prevent adverse health implications of chronic stress. Continue reading
Getting to where you want to be takes work. You are worth it.
Growth requires change and change takes work. Becoming your best self means showing up everyday for yourself. Make choices that propel you toward where you want to be.
Don’t doubt the cumulative power of those simple decisions to create real, fundamental changes in your life.
Today showing up for myself looks like an hour of vinyasa, a trip to the library, and a whole lotta h20.

Let whatever you do today be enough.
Give yourself credit for showing up for yourself. Respect how far you’ve come and all you’ve accomplished. Say thank you to your mind and body for getting you to here. Just keep doing and moving and breathing. That is how you will get to where you want to be.
